Q: Where is your store located?

A: The Spoke is located in beautiful Williamstown MA. If you are arriving from the East, take Route 2 through North Adams and continue about 4 miles. We are on the right,in the Colonial Shopping Center. From the West, follow Route 2 past the Route 43 junction and continue through a traffic light. After roughly 1 mile we are on your left in the Colonial Shopping Center.

Q: What hours do you keep?

A: The Spoke is open from 10AM - 6PM on weekdays, and 10AM - 5PM on Saturdays

Q: If I bring in a bike for a tune-up, how much does it cost, and how long will you have to keep it?

A: Usually, your bike will be done in 24-48 hours. Sometimes we will need to keep it longer. We will give you a pick-up date when you drop the bike off. A standard tune-up costs $49.95. This includes adjustment of gears, brakes and all bearings, straightening wheels, lubricating drivetrain, light cleaning, and any other external adjustments required to make your bike run like new. Repairing bicycles is our specialty, so don't be afraid to challenge us with more difficult problems.

Q: Do you have a bathroom I could use?

A: Yes, the bathroom is located in the back corner of the store.

Q: What types of bicycle do you sell?

A: We sell all types of bicycles. Children's bikes, adult mountain, road and hybrid bikes, touring bikes, cyclocross bikes, unicycles, tricycles, tandems, you name it. Also, check out the bikes link to the left.

Q: What's your dog's name?

A: The dog's name is Trixie.

Q: When are you going to update the "Beer of the Month" page?

A: The beer of the month will be updated sometime in the next few days. If you have any nominations send them our way. Use the e-mail links to the left.

Q: How's the riding in your area?

A: We would argue that we have the best riding available. You could do a different road ride every day for a month. The roads are wide, and the drivers are courteous (mostly). The loops range from ten to 100 miles in 5 mile increments. As far as mountain biking goes, there are 4 trail systems within 3 miles of the store. Difficulty ranges from easy to technical to impossible. Most terrain is single- or double-track, and access is almost never a problem. Check out the rides link for more details.

Q: Do you do group rides from the store?

A: We do rides just about every night at 6:30 if the weather is good. We never let the ride turn into a race, so everyone is invited. Call ahead to check whether it will be mounatin or road.
